Why Do I Love Bacon So Much?

I never met someone who doesn’t like bacon. Think about it: what’s not to like? It’s just so tasty and yummy. Even better, there are just a million things you can do with it. You can cook bacon, you can cure bacon, you can use it in salads, you can even can bacon! Yes, so it is not the healthiest type of food… but it is just so delicious, it’s worth it.

When writing this article I tried finding who invented bacon. Well, it seems there is no simple answer to that. One website suggests it was the Romans. Personally, I think that for as long as humans existed and ate meat, Bacon was there in one form or another. Furthermore, I would even dare say that as long as there will be humans eating meat, bacon will still be here.

Even though I’ve never made bacon myself, discovering how to make bacon is one of my goals in my “to-do” list. I am hoping that I will be able to customize my bacon and create a supreme type of bacon, my kind of bacon. An Uber-Bacon, if you will.
